About Tony Ng
Tony Ng (b. 1980) is a Malaysian painter known for richly coloured still lifes that draw on batik cloth and traditional Malaysian objects. He discovered oil painting in secondary school and went on to earn a Diploma in Fine Art from the KL College of Arts, supplementing his training with studies in art restoration at Accademia Riaci in Florence, Italy. His first solo exhibition, The Beauty of Faith, was held in 2015, followed by Ukiran in 2022 at Henry Butcher Art Auctioneers and Galeri Prima. His work is held in the collections of Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur and Soka Gakkai Malaysia.
